  1. SITES AROUND ‘AUSCHWITZ-1’ As a continuation of the recent ‘Beyond the Birkenau’ material, I invite you to join my walking tour around the ‘Auschwitz-1’ or ‘Stammlager (main camp). These locations are rarely recognized by the tourist groups, while they are on the short 200 meters’ distance from the camp fence. These unobvious places can give a deeper understanding of the Auschwitz nature and its dramatic bureaucratic functioning. I have devoted almost a month to this detailed article with the history of each site and building, dozens of archival and present photos, quotes from the books on the issue. It would be the most precious part to get your feedback. Ask questions, share your stories, add value. And travel your own history. https://war-documentary.info/objects-around-aushwitz/
  2. SITES AROUND THE AUSCHWITZ BIRKENAU My new material from the Poland-2018 trip took me almost a month of researching, writing, editing. I have visited the Auschwitz memorial site and want to share with you ‘beyond-the-fence’ walking experience along the locations of the historical significance, generally poor known among the visitors. With great respect, I hope this article can widen your understanding of the place, motivate for mindful history and to make your own travel. I would be greatly appreciated for your feedback (comments, questions, suggestions) as it energizes me to work and share new materials with you. Travel your own history. https://war-documentary.info/beyond-birkenau/
  3. SCHINDLER”S LIST MOVIE LOCATIONS IN KRAKOW I continue my series of articles from the Poland trip 2018 with a detailed historical tour along the all main movie locations in Krakow, where ‘Schindler’s list’ movie by Steven Spielberg was filmed. Thorough route within Krakow, Plaszow campsite, Auschwitz Birkenau with a detailed map, 50+ of photos, a brief history of the shooting process and the sites, scene-by-scene comparison of the movie with the modern perspective. I would greatly appreciate your feedback, questions, suggestions. It motivates me to work harder. https://war-documentary.info/where-was-schindlers-list-filmed/
