Here is my list of top 10 war films - I like them all for different reasons, some because they were ground breaking, some because they remind me of a time and place and some because they are 'fun'.

1 - Kelly's Heroes. Just a totally blast and some great one liners in there.

2 - Casablanca. A classic in my eyes and come on, it has Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman in it :x

3 - Saving Private Ryan. Changed the way war films are made and the opening scenes are iconic

4 - Braveheart. OK so they didn't wear kilts in that era and an American playing a Scot is a bit dodgy but just a good good verses evil tale.

5 - Black Hawk Down. Did and still does have me gripping the edge of my seat.

6 - The Last of the Mohicans. Fascinating era and wonderful music score.
