Very confused about my history

Recommended Posts

Now i´m 50 years old and only 5 years ago i was told about my history.

My "Grandfather" was a high ranked German Soldier, my Grandmother a BDM  (Bund Deutscher Mädel).
Bot they deneid the Holocaust, had a full equipped "Führerhauptquartier" in the basement and my biologic familiy was allways educated in hate.

The last months of her life before my grandmother died, she told my that my real grandfather was an GI in 1946.
She was left alone at the exodus from Poland and got in a
relationship in Bavaria with this GI named "Michael"

She got pregnant, Michael went away and the next men in her life was her formerly SS member  based  man.
So my mother was "hated" by him, i always named as "bastard"  and never accepted for him as real family member.

Both are dead now and i will never know, wo my real grandfather is.
I ever had the feel that this family is not mine.

Sad i would never know about the real part of my bio family 😞

Interesting. I saw another twisted tale. Dr. Bernd Wollschlaeger, the son of a decorated Wehrmacht officer, as a kid met Stauffenberg's widow in his hometown at the end of the war, and later - wait for this - converted to Judaism and served in the Israeli Defense Forces:
